Dr. Jürgen Gudjons

fluorinated skiwax

Dr. Gudjons fluorinated ski waxes create a solid lubricant that reduces friction between the ski and the snow. This fluorinated wax for the application on skis, bobsleighs and sledges is used for improving the gliding properties. It offers an extremely low surface tension which of course results in a higher water repellence of the ski on the snow and therefore in higher speeds and excellent sliding properties. A ski in motion possesses kinetic energy and the more of this energy it maintains, the faster and easier it will move.

The distinguishing features of our High-Tec ski waxes are extreme gliding properties and excellent durability. All our ski waxes are liquids and therefore easy to use:

apply - let dry - and go!
No more heating and melting!

We offer 4 different kinds of ski waxes for professional skiers that differ in increasing hardness and durability:

And we offer 2 different kinds of ski waxes for all-round skiers:

Application:

Before you apply Dr. Gudjons ski wax make sure that the surface of your ski should be really dry and clean. Otherwise the wax won't be fixed sufficiently. We recommend outdoor treatment or well aired rooms and a liquid temperature of about 30 to 35 ° C (hand warm). Shake well before using. You may either apply the liquid wax using a paint-brush or a small piece of soft cloth with long smooth strokes. You may also use an airbrush-system or atomizer. Make sure that you don't breath in the solvent and avoid smoking when treating your skis! Allow the wax coat to dry for at least one hour (preferably 8 hours). After the wax has totally dried up you may offer the surface a further treatment by polishing it with a soft brush or soft cloth.
